These pieces form a collection of work made in embodied-felt-response in co-exploration within Marina Rova‘s PhD research programme investigating the phenomenon of kinaesthetic empathy through dance movement psychotherapy, phenomenology and cognitive neuroscience.
Marina invited me to make work in response to the movement research workshop phase. The work here is a sample of this. The painting |mu| was my response to this.
Marina and I co-curated the art and photography exhibition which welcomed the audience to Marina’s PhD dance theatre performance |mu|. The art-work details and dovetails with the embodied research process that underscores Marina’s work.
